SAR (Saratoga Investment Corp.) Sets CFO Transition for October 31

Saratoga Investment Corp. said on September 18, 2026, that Henri Steenkamp will leave four executive roles on October 31 for health-related reasons.

Steenkamp will step down as chief financial officer, chief compliance officer, treasurer and secretary. He is expected to remain a director, continue as chief financial officer of Saratoga’s SBIC subsidiaries and advise the company as a consultant during the transition.

Saratoga named three internal leaders to divide the responsibilities. Controller Christine Ramdihal will become chief accounting officer and treasurer and serve as principal financial officer. Assistant Chief Compliance Officer Rochelle Kracoff will become chief compliance officer and secretary. Investment Manager James Soltesz will add the role of vice president of capital markets, including broader balance-sheet support.

Why it matters

The change separates finance, compliance and capital-markets duties that had been concentrated in one executive. Promoting experienced internal employees and retaining Steenkamp as a director and consultant may reduce handoff risk, but it does not eliminate it.

For shareholders, the next tests are continuity in financial reporting, regulatory compliance and funding execution after October 31. The announcement does not change reported earnings, the dividend or portfolio credit quality.
