Oxford Lane Capital reported on November 5, 2026 that net asset value, the value of its assets after liabilities, fell to $9.95 per share at the end of September from $10.74 at the end of June. The company also disclosed that its board had declared monthly common distributions of $0.10 per share for January, February and March 2027.
The company reported $0.68 per share in core net investment income for the September quarter. That measure adjusts for cash distributions received or due from its equity stakes in collateralized loan obligations, which bundle corporate loans. Those equity stakes get paid after the vehicles pay their lenders. The reported cash distribution yield on those investments fell to 12.4% from 16.3% at the end of June, measured against what Oxford Lane paid for them.
The $0.68 in quarterly core income gives the newly declared $0.30 of payments over three months a meaningful cushion at the latest reported earnings level. We would take more comfort from a steadier cash yield and net asset value. Both matter here because Oxford Lane needs its loan investments to keep generating cash for future payments.
