OCCI (OFS Credit Company, Inc.) Plans $5 Million Series E Preferred Redemption

OFS Credit Company (OCCI) notified the SEC on September 29, 2026, that it intends to redeem ﹩5 million aggregate principal amount of its 5.25% Series E Term Preferred Stock on October 30.

The planned transaction is a partial redemption of the Series E preferred shares, which are due in 2026. OCCI cited the redemption provision in the security’s certificate of designation.

Why it matters

The redemption will reduce the amount of Series E preferred capital outstanding and the associated 5.25% dividend obligation. It is a concrete liability-management step as the term preferred approaches maturity.

The notice does not disclose the funding source, the number of Series E shares that will remain outstanding, or whether OCCI will replace the capital. Cash funding would reduce liquidity, while replacement financing could change the company’s funding cost. The filing alone therefore does not establish an improvement in common-dividend support. Shareholders should watch the remaining preferred balance, liquidity, any replacement financing, and subsequent earnings.
