Included dividend is a regular dividend or regularly paid supplemental dividend counted in the denominator of a stated dividend coverage calculation.

Why this matters to income investors

This determines which payments earnings must support in Fly High’s coverage calculation. An omitted regular supplement would make coverage look better than it is.

How to use included dividend in your research

Include the regular dividend and any supplemental payment made regularly. Exclude irregular special dividends, and document why each payment was included or omitted.
