CSWC: ﹩0.64 Dividend Package Extends Through December
Capital Southwest Corporation said on August 27, 2026, that its board declared total dividends of ﹩0.64 per share for the quarter ending December 31, 2026.
The package consists of a ﹩0.58 regular dividend and a ﹩0.06 supplemental dividend. The regular dividend will be paid in three monthly installments of ﹩0.1934 per share on October 30, November 30, and December 31. The corresponding record dates are October 15, November 13, and December 15. The supplemental dividend is payable on December 31 to stockholders of record on December 15.
Why it matters
The declaration maintains the same total quarterly structure CSWC used for the September quarter. For income shareholders, that extends both the regular payout and the regularly paid supplemental dividend through year-end.
Capital Southwest says its board reviews estimates of taxable income available for distribution, which can differ from net investment income under generally accepted accounting principles. Under the Fly High method, net investment income is CSWC’s company-specific dividend-source earnings measure and remains the primary monitoring signal.
The declaration confirms the payment schedule, but it does not by itself establish forward dividend coverage. The next earnings report will show whether recurring net investment income continues to support the regular and supplemental payments while credit marks, non-accruals, funding costs, and leverage remain supporting evidence.
